Abstract:Adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL) was recently identified and described as an important factor in fat metabolism. In this study, we construct specific small interfering RNA (siRNA) expressing vectors of ATGL gene. Porcine ATGL-specific small interferencing RNA (siRNA) was designed and inserted into pSilencer 4.1-CMV neo vector after annealing. The constructed recombinant was analyzed and identified by PCR, enzyme digested and sequencing. The results showed that the porcine ATGL-specific siRNA recombinant expressing vectors was constructed successfully. The results will benefit for further study on the function of porcine ATGL gene in fat metabolism using RNAi technology .
