Stress Physiological Roles of Diacylglycerol Kinase (AtDGK7) Gene in Arabidopsis thaliana |
|
|
Abstract Transgenic AtDGK7 plants were obtained by constructing PBI121-AtDGK7 expression vector and transformating it into Arabidopsis thaliana. And the stress-resistant function of diacylglycerol kinase (AtDGK7) gene in Arabidopsis thaliana was researched by stress resistance determination, ABA, NaCl and mannitol resistance experiment and RT-PCR. The results showed that the AtDGK7-overexpressed Arabidopsis thaliana plants were less sensitive to high concentration ABA and displayed normal germination of seeds. Under salt stress, the AtDGK7-overexpressed Arabidopsis thaliana plants grew more robust than that of the wild-type Arabidopsis thaliana plants , and could resist the salt stress. Meanwhile, the free proline and malonaldehyde contents, and superoxide dismutase activities were determined. And the results showed that the low temperature-resistant of the AtDGK7-overexpressed Arabidopsis thaliana plants were proved.
