Abstract Abstract: Biotic and abiotic stresses negatively influence the growth and development of plants and restrict the development of agriculture and forestry. Many transcription factors involve in the expression regulation of stress related genes by stress signal transduction，of which, DREB is one of the most important transcription factors. In this paper, the research progress on DREB in recent years was reviewed. The researches on DREB provided the important information to understand the molecular mechanism of plant stress resistance and the opportunity to develop stress resistant plants.
