Abstract The results of bioinformatics analysis showed that the transmembrane segments, signal peptide, protein secondary structure, the amounts of phosphorylation sites and Palmitoylation sites were different in the four caragana intermedia fad2 proteins. All of these were very important to study the functions and regulation of these genes further.
