Transformation of Antisense Ethylene Receptor FaEtr1 and FaErs1 Gene in Strawberry

Abstract  The antigene FaEtr1 and FaErs1 were introduced into leaves of stawberrywith Agrobacterium tumefaciens, and regenerated plants were obtained by kanamycin selection. 15 plants were confirmed by PCR and Southern blot analysis that the antigene FaEtr1 and FaErs1 gene were transferred and integrated into the genome of strawberry. Northern blot analysis indicated that FaEtr1 and FaErs1 mRNA abundance were decresased in antisense strawberry plants.
